Smart energy management at INNOVAMETALL

Our customer INNOVAMETALL from Freistadt (AT) is leading the way: Through combined energy and mobility management, the medium-sized metal construction company intelligently harmonizes the generation, feed-in, consumption and storage of energy so that the company can produce (almost) energy cost-neutrally. As a result, INNOVAMETALL is not only a pioneer in operational sustainability, but also benefits from a cheap and stable energy supply in times of energy crisis. In this way, INNOVAMETALL can strengthen its competitive position.
In our free webinar, we will show you how INNOVAMETALL manages to supply its own production almost entirely with self-generated PV electricity using flexible and intelligent storage approaches (in particular pool electric cars) and smart process control.
To this end, INNOVAMETALL has combined two solutions to implement an energy and mobility management system tailored to the individual case:
- Safetydock is a sustainable mobility solution that includes various components, including intelligent charging management for electric cars.
- Smart Energy Management, a solution from BLUE-ZONE GmbH, enables the intelligent balancing of energy generation, storage and consumption.
Smart EnergyManagement is a software solution that intelligently balances energy budgets and helps you to become (more) independent of electricity prices. Smart Energy Management visualizes energy flows and develops suggestions for more efficient use.

To be able to use Smart Energy Management, you must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Own power generation (e.g. photovoltaics)
- Energy storage capacities (e.g. electric cars, but also stationary units or hot water)
At the heart of Smart Energy Management is a priority logic that intelligently coordinates consumers, producers and storage units. Individual consumers are supplied with the available, self-generated electricity based on different aspects such as performance and priority. This reduces expensive peak loads. In addition, forecasts and specific recommendations for action can be created.
